Every project and every client is individual. That’s why when you work with Design Projects you can expect to be treated as such. We’re as comfortable working with big brands as we are with independent clients, whatever the scale and budget, and we can take on as much or as little of the responsibility as you need.

Design

As our name suggests, design is very important to us. Everything we do is grounded in good design, be it branded signage, an interactive display or VT content to be shown on a massive screen. In our view, design is creating an environment for a purpose. A robust design process and meticulous quality control combined with a respect for brand values and guidelines is what makes Design Projects stand out from the rest.

Construction

We are a definitive ’hands on’ company. Construction takes place at our HQ and we hold a large range of materials in stock so we can quickly make prototypes and bring our design concepts to life. We have a carpentry workshop, paint shop and a ‘projects room’ for electronic and mechanical work. It’s a creative centre and we can deliver a huge range of work from building a lectern to constructing an arena stage.

About us

Design Projects was set up in 1988 by Andrew Dore and Bryan Willé. Their backgrounds in theatre design and publishing provided the foundations for creating striking, high quality and supremely practical solutions for events, display and conferencing. Using a combination of brilliant design and up-to-the-minute technology to deliver outstanding results continues to be the basis of the business.

The Design Projects HQ is in the rolling Surrey Countryside. With offices, workshops and storage facilities in excess of 1000 square metres, we have the capabilities to build and hold large scale staging and equipment on site and work centrally with relevant teams in the fields of joinery, metal work, scene painting and electronics which means we’re efficient, aligned and a veritable hub of creativity.
